A guillotine door seal is a type of sealing system used to prevent the ingress of air, dust, water or other external factors around or under doors. This type of seal is mostly used in doors that require precise and isolated sealing, such as doors in buildings with high standards for sound and thermal insulation. This system consists of a movable strip or profile that is installed at the bottom edge of the door and automatically lowers when the door is closed, filling the empty space between the door and the floor or door frame.

The term “guillotine” refers to the mechanism of operation of this seal, which is similar to the function of a guillotine: when the door is closed, the seal moves vertically downwards and returns to its original position when the door is opened. This type of seal is used especially for soundproof doors, fire doors, or external doors that need to maintain insulation. The HTN Prime guillotine seal can be ordered in three sizes: 92 cm, 107 cm, and 122 cm. If needed, you can shorten these seals by up to 15 cm on each side. The main material of this seal is aluminum, the bottom part of the seal is made of compressed plastic, and the pin area is made of brass.
